Sivil House is a farmhouse with its very own farmland not too far from the village of great Edstone, the historic city of York is the city closest to the house.This is a converted barn made into a luxury home with beams, high ceilings and decor that shows character. The windows are double glazed, and there is the option for central heating, there is a patio area great for barbeques and outdoor relaxation. Inside there is an open fireplace, the fuel and the wood has been provided for you in advance.
Local Area
There is a lot to do around the house, fishing in the river, lots of wildlife, sheep, cattle, hens, horses and other wildlife.The area is peaceful and relaxing place for going to the East Coast resorts, the Yorkshire moors and forest of the north Yorkshire Moors National Park. Within a few miles of the house is the ruined abbey, steam railway museum, the local zoo and theme park.
York, Whitby, Scarborough and Bridlington are all within driving distance, there are a lot of small villages and towns around the area, you can either take a bicycle, walk or drive through the local villages and old historical sites.
